Invitation Times
The new fiscal year for Victoria state sponsorship (190 and 491 visas) has begun with multiple rounds of invitations. The known invitations are as follows：
July 2024: First round invitation；
September 11, 2024: Second round invitation.
Future invitations are expected to occur every 1-2 months, but the specific dates should be checked with the official Victoria Immigration website.
Invitation Requirements
- Occupation List: Victoria prioritizes occupations in fields such as healthcare, engineering, and information technology, especially those that contribute significantly to the state’s economic growth.
- Regional Preference: 491 visa applicants must demonstrate a commitment to living and working in regional Victoria.
- Work or Study: Applicants typically need to have relevant work experience or have completed studies in Victoria.
- Priority Based on Score: High-scoring applicants and those with critical skills will be prioritized.
Invitation Process
- Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and state nomination application.；
- Submit visa application upon receiving an invitation.；
- Await approval.
