Eligibility Criteria

For the Child Applicant

    • If under 18: Must be single (not married, engaged, or in a de facto relationship).
    • If 18 to 25: Must be single and financially dependent on the parent or enrolled as a full-time student.
  • Stepchild Criteria: If the step-parent is no longer in a relationship with the child’s biological parent but still has a legal responsibility for the child, the child may be eligible.
  • Adopted Child Criteria: The adoption must have occurred before the child turned 18 and while they were single.
  • Health & Character: The applicant must meet Australian health and character requirements.
