2026 Social Board Game Night × DIY Workshop Successfully Concluded

On 3 July 2026, the “Social Board Game Night × DIY Workshop” hosted by Merchants Prosperity Education & Migration came to a successful conclusion. We sincerely thank everyone who joined us and shared a relaxed, enjoyable evening filled with interaction, creativity and laughter.

Before the event began, many participants were meeting for the first time, and some were a little worried that socialising might feel awkward. However, as the ice-breaking activities and board games got underway, the atmosphere quickly became lively. Through natural and relaxed conversations, everyone gradually became more comfortable with one another, and the initial sense of unfamiliarity was soon replaced by laughter and animated discussion.

A variety of popular games were prepared for the evening, including Werewolf, UNO and mahjong. We also introduced the large-scale social deduction game Blood on the Clocktower. Guided by the storyteller, participants took part in role-playing, information sharing, logical reasoning and team-based strategy. With new clues and unexpected twists emerging throughout the game, everyone carefully analysed identities and observed each other’s words and reactions. The suspenseful and engaging experience helped many participants who had just met quickly become familiar with one another.

In addition to the energetic board game sessions, the event also featured a DIY craft workshop. Participants used their imagination and creativity to combine different materials and create their own unique pieces. During the process, they shared ideas and techniques with one another, enjoying not only the fun of crafting but also the relaxing and therapeutic experience it brought.

One of the most rewarding parts of the evening was seeing participants progress from complete strangers to teammates who played games together, discussed clues and exchanged creative ideas. Through these relaxed and natural interactions, many new friendships were formed. The event not only provided a space for everyone to unwind and explore their interests, but also helped students and community members living in Australia experience a stronger sense of connection, companionship and belonging.

Merchants Prosperity Education & Migration has always been committed to creating more opportunities for communication and interaction within the Chinese community in Australia. In the future, we will continue to organise a wider variety of social, board game and creative workshop events, providing more opportunities for people to meet, share and enjoy meaningful experiences together.

Thank you once again for your support and participation. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
