2026 S2 O-Week: Deakin University

On 29 June and 1 July 2026, Merchants Prosperity visited Deakin University to connect with new students from different academic backgrounds and disciplines. During the event, we engaged in face-to-face conversations with students and prepared practical, meaningful welcome gifts to support them as they began their campus life in Australia.

O-Week is often the first step for students to officially settle into university life. For many students who have just arrived in Australia, it marks not only the beginning of new courses and a new campus environment, but also a fresh start in lifestyle, study rhythm, and future planning. At the event, the Merchants Prosperity team spoke with students about study life, course selection, visa matters, future study pathways, career development, and migration planning, helping them better understand the key milestones they may face at the early stage of their studies.

Throughout the event, Merchants Prosperity also gave out carefully prepared welcome gifts to attending students. Through relaxed and friendly interactions, we hoped to bring students a sense of support and companionship during a busy O-Week. Many students also actively asked questions about student visas and future PR pathway planning. Our team provided initial guidance and suggestions based on each student’s situation.

As a professional agency deeply engaged in Australian education and migration services, Merchants Prosperity has always focused on the real needs of students at different stages. From school applications and visa lodgements to course planning, visa renewals, graduate work visas, and long-term migration pathways, we aim to provide students with more systematic and practical support, helping them make clearer choices at every stage.

Our participation in Deakin University’s O-Week was not only a campus event, but also an important opportunity for Merchants Prosperity to build connections with new students. Through face-to-face communication, we hope students understand that studying overseas is not just about receiving an offer and obtaining a visa. It is also a journey that requires ongoing planning and adjustment. Whether students are just beginning to adapt to life in Australia or already thinking about future study and career directions, having clear information and professional guidance early on can make future decisions more confident and manageable.

Moving forward, Merchants Prosperity will continue to participate in more campus events, connect with student communities, and listen to the real challenges students face in their studies, daily life, and future planning. We look forward to meeting more students as they begin their new journey and supporting them in exploring clearer and more suitable development pathways in Australia.
